My passion for acting doesn’t end at the Broadway stage, I have taken that love onto the big screen to show my versatility. My first big role was a reoccurring spot as Annie Valdez in Season 3 of Orange Is The New Black. I can also be seen in Law and Order SVU, The Blacklist, The Deuce, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Fosse/Verdon, and NBC’s Smash. I was featured as the lead the lead in the Superbowl Squarespace National Commercial, directed by Damien Chazelle and choreographed by Justin Peck.

My exciting project that premiered in December of 2021, is my featured role as a shark girl Charita in the new remake of West Side Story directed by Steven Spielberg, written by Tony Kushner, and choreographed by Justin Peck. Working with Steven Spielberg and the entire team was an absolute dream and to be representing my heritage as a Puertorriqueña is one of the most gratifying feelings as a Latina in the arts!

What it was like to work with Steven Spielberg...

In summer 2019, I wrapped a long and epic filming schedule with the one and only Steven Spielberg for his remake of the classic film, West Side Story. For me this was a dream come true and a full-circle moment, considering the 2009 Broadway revival of West Side Story was my first professional job. The movie was nominated for seven Oscars!

Like on Broadway, I can be seen as a part of the Shark gang in this film. Premiered December 2021!
